These are the policies every family agrees to when enrolling at Baylee's Music Academy. Enrolling families sign the full agreement in the academy app; this page is here so you can read the important parts before you commit to anything.
Your first lesson is free and carries no obligation. Nothing below applies until you enroll.
Piano · Voice · Violin · Guitar · Acting · Songwriting · Mommy & Me (early childhood development)
Baylee's Music Academy is a full music school, not just a weekly lesson. Every student receives a complete music education — music theory, stage etiquette coaching, and masterclasses — so you have what you need to grow as a confident performer and musician. If performing isn't your goal, that's completely fine. These opportunities are included in your tuition and you're welcome to take part in as many, or as few, as you like.
Tuition reflects a complete music education experience and reserves your weekly lesson time slot.
Tuition includes:
Students are responsible for purchasing personal materials, including books, binders, sheet music, and other assigned materials.
Students receive one private lesson per week. Advanced students may be invited to enroll in multiple weekly lessons as their skills progress; tuition increases for additional weekly lessons.
We use QuickBooks Invoicing for all payments. Tuition is paid by card, and every family keeps an active card on file. No processing fees are charged. Your payment information is held securely by QuickBooks — academy staff and instructors cannot see your card details.
Tuition is due on the 1st of each month. If a card is declined and tuition remains unpaid, a $40 late fee is charged after 7 days. Continued unpaid invoices may result in lessons being paused and the student's reserved time slot being released.
Billing is month to month.
Tuition reserves your instructor's dedicated weekly time slot and ensures consistency for all students and teachers.
The studio is closed for:
The studio also closes for one scheduled week during the summer, so instructors have paid time off with their families. The dates are announced each spring.
Throughout the year, students may take part in:
Families who wish to stop lessons must give one month's notice. Without a month's notice, the family remains responsible for 50% of the following month's tuition.
Tuition for a student's final month is non-refundable.
We photograph and record recitals, showcases and community performances, and sometimes use them on our website and social media. This is a separate, optional permission in the enrollment agreement — you can enroll without granting it, and you can withdraw it at any time. See our Privacy Policy for more.
